  so my wife just got a job at a huge company where a witness friend works.

  we only have 1 car... well my friend cant carpool with my wife to work because it would be imporoper for a man and a woman to be in the car alone.

  grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr im so frustrated.

  He probably has a bumper sticker that says, "Women WANT ME... False Religion FEARS ME!"
  
  IT IS SO MIND-NUMBINGLY STUPID! I doubt any Dub would think twice if he was asked to drive your 6 year-old to school and I think recent history has shown how dangerous THAT can be.

  So, let's see.... a loving God let all the people from the first century until the late 1800's be without hope or guidance... OR>>> for 1700 years, not a single human being actually searched for God and called him in prayer....I think the "helper" that Jesus spoke about must take some mighty long coffee breaks!

  what have been the most effective reasons that you've given to the people that you love for why you're no longer a witness?

  considering that most dubs have the attention span of a 2 year old for anything from an a-prostate, please be consise and succint with your answers.

  just trying to plant some seeds of reasoning.... maybe in-depth discussions with those folks will come at a later time.

  i was divorced in 1988- (remarried in 2000) it was over a year in the making.

  despite all my efforts to reason with her, i failed to get her to see the errors in the wt society.

  after i told her my views on blood transfusions she called me an apostate and refused to discuss the jw's.-i was on the outside after that.

  i.e. Is this a religion based hurdle or is this a communication/ego problem for her?
